This was such a beautiful, heart-filled interview! I always try to bring you guests I think will leave you inspired and with hope.
Meet my guest, the lovely Sammy Myer,  the founder of papasweater  shares how her love for design first blossomed through wardrobe styling until people around her started pointing out what was clear all along: she was thinking, moving, and creating like a true designer.
She opens up about the profound loss of her beloved father to addiction at just 14 years old, and the waves of disassociation and escapism that followed as she tried to keep her dream alive with a quiet hole in her heart.“I remember Lindsay Lohan called Lifetime and got me hired as a stylist!” she says with a laugh. From dressing icons like Alicia Keys, Lindsay Lohan, and Swizz Beatz to moving through the glittering circles of Kanye West and Jay-Z, Sammy takes us behind the scenes of the fast-paced, high-stakes world of celebrity styling. She talks about the friendships forged in the fire, the personal challenges she had to navigate, and the tender power of being seen and supported by people who truly believe in you.
Tap in for her story, her spirit, and a reminder that dreams don’t just survive, they transform us.

Raise your hand if you happened to be at the center of one of the largest federal drug smuggling cases in modern history, outmaneuvered the notorious prisoner’s dilemma, represented yourself in court, and managed to have a 30-year sentence reduced to 17—ultimately walking free after just 12 years served. Then, against all odds, you not only rebuilt your life but soared to the top, earning a coveted spot on the Forbes list within five years of release.
Can’t quite relate? Allow me to introduce you to Louis ziskin. His extraordinary story is as audacious as it is inspiring.

This was such a special interview—one I genuinely cherished. I was deeply moved by Dakota Dean’s courage, honesty, and willingness to speak so openly about the darker chapters of her life, and the raw, often gut-wrenching reality of her sobriety journey. Dakota is a remarkable woman who has navigated and transcended many versions of herself—from the world of OnlyFans and Instagram influencer world to the grounded, intentional life she leads now. She shares her experience with Cali-sobriety, reflecting on how alcohol once had a devastating grip on her and the ones she loved as a result, while cannabis remains something she has cultivated a mindful, healthy relationship with. She offers profound insight into what life looks like on the other side of alcoholism, all while balancing a demanding schedule as a successful DJ and occasional bartender. I hope you enjoy this powerful conversation and the story of a woman who continues to evolve with strength, grace, and depth.

And we’re off to Bali! Joining me for this episode is the incredible Anth Lowther—a true force of health, authenticity, and transformation. Anths mission? World peace through radical self-love. He’s spent the last 15+ years sober, learning what it really means to honor his body, live in integrity, and help others do the same. He’s also the visionary behind the wildly successful Rise and Shine sober parties—uplifting, conscious events that are changing lives and challenging the narrative around sobriety. Now living his dream life in Bali, Anth is the embodiment of what’s possible when healing becomes a lifestyle. Did this interview from my home , what a great and relaxed chat! enjoy

Doing “the right thing” doesn’t mean you’ll feel happy. As someone who struggles to access her feelings , (the positive ones in particular) me and my sponsor seniajade talk about what it’s like to have to shelf the idea of being happy in favor of restoring your integrity and moral compass in order to be good with yourself. We discuss what being in service means, my outreach sharingvenice that was founded at the very beginning of my sobriety and what role it has played not only restoring my mental health but also spiritual health. I may not always be happy, but I am useful. And that is a gift .

Featuring Sebastian Siegel! a British-American screenwriter, director, author, and actor from Oxford, England Part of his mission statement on his website deeplyconsious.com says “Through traditional, transpersonal, and integral psychotherapeutic methods we explore the effects that conscious and unconscious thoughts are having on decisions, states of being, and patterns of behavior. We explore how applied meanings to events and personal circumstances are shaping the development of character, personality, and interactions on all levels. The objective is for deeper understanding and awareness of self as a way to be more fully functional, effective, and fulfilled.” . Have you ever felt addicted to a person or wondered why you only seem to be able to access certain emotions when you’re under the influence ? I have. And what’s the deal with people clearly lacking the tools for a serious relationship cosplaying commitment and coupledom ? Are we that scared of being alone and/or facing what’s behind the door? Sebastian Siegel led a twenty year in-depth study on love. He collaborated with close peers and pioneers in the field of consciousness, including philosopher Ken Wilber, director emeritus of the Jung Center, Dr. James Hollis, don Miguel Ruiz, Stan Grof, Marianne Williamson to name a few. He seemed like the perfect person to ask these questions to. Amazing conversation! hope you enjoy

Crashout or Sleeper?

Friday Jun 13, 2025

Friday Jun 13, 2025

I was always considered the "sleeper". the one no one could have guessed would be the most problematic one of the group especially when under the influence.
I think peoples perception of an addict or a drunk is tied to such a specific image that it almost makes those of us that are 'sleepers' think we might not have a problem. My guest here is Paige Phillips who is the stereotypical 'crashout' addict. she is in recory, so am i - im two years sober. she still drinks on occasion. We both consider ourselves rewired and chose the path best for us.
Which one is best for you? Hope you enjoy this episode !
